For everyone in the wedding and hospitality industry, this has been a difficult few months. Statistically, our industry has been one of the worst affected.

Thankfully, across the World and in the UK, we can see a reduction in COVID-19 cases and that can only give us confidence in the future. Most of us are sticking to the "Stay at Home" orders, and that is bringing down the dreaded "R" rate.

We have now been taking bookings again for later this year and for 2020, 2021 and 2022. Plus the number of enquiries is steadily increasing every day. 

We have now moved nearly 40 bookings further ahead for concerned customers. It's difficult times for those with up-coming weddings, birthdays and special occasions. We will certainly do our very best to help every customer.

Like all businesses, we will adapt and change how we operate to keep you, our customers safe and our team safe too. This will obviously include social distancing, the use of PPE and good hygiene practices.

We are also looking at some new exciting products and services for events later this year and beyond.

April 2020

Obviously, like many wedding and events businesses. The Little Events has had to comply with recent government guidelines regarding the CORVID-19 virus. This started with us taking precautions and later meant we could not trade.

Already, we have currently rescheduled 20 bookings this year to later dates. Very difficult excisions for everyone involved. weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations.

Every customer booking with us can contact us to reschedule their booking. There will be no additional charges unless your booking fundamentally changes. We do recommend you contact us before to check availability as later on 2020 & 2021 is already filling up.

Over this time, we thank all those key workers across all sectors that continue to keep Wales and the UK running. We cannot really put into words our thanks and our appreciation of all you are doing.

In particular we thank our health care professionals for being on the front line of this virus. It is humbling that so many put others before themselves.

In 2016, we personally saw the amazing work the teams in The Critical Care Wards do and we will always be thankful for all they did for Sam and for us. These are the real HEROS is our country, not Celebrities and Social Media Bloggers.

Thank you so much for your email!
It is looking like we will have to change the date of our party as my husband has a pre existing condition that means we are already trying not to leave the house, I can't see that this crisis will be resolved by the 25th of April so we will be looking to push the date into the summer months, all being well!
Once we know when things can begin to return to normal would it be ok to discuss an alternative date?

That is one of the most timely emails I have received – and really appreciate how you are handling the situation – very impressed.

 

We are being forced to move our Wedding from 11 April 2020 to 14 November 2020, still taking place at the Cliff hotel and all details the same (timings / requirements).

 

Would you be able to confirm whether you are free and can fulfil 14 Nov 20 please – we have our fingers crossed

Can I change the date of my booking?

Today, we contacted all our customers that have booked with us through to September.

Some have already expressed their wish to change the date of their wedding or event.

We are waiving our normal fee for changing the date of the event and offering up to two years to find an alternative date / venue. 

If you are cancelling you booking at your venue and potentially looking at new dates. Do contact us to ensure we have availability on your new date.
